EUCONA TREATMENT AND EDUCATION CENTER’S CLINICAL SUPPORT

At EUCONA, clinical support is an indispensable part of our program. All mental and physical health needs are overseen by clinical staff who pay close attention to an individual’s unique needs. Because our central focus at EUCONA is educational advancement, our clinical staff focus on helping students improve emotional awareness, and decision-making skills. Intellectual, Social, Physical, Emotional and Ethical improvement are the core areas of focus for clinical staff.

Our Clinical staff work closely with the tutors and students themselves to address the academic, behavioural, and emotional problems that have the potential to disrupt current education or may have already disrupted education. Each student is assigned a clinical case manager and will have access to school counselling, group sessions, psychiatric consultations, and clinical case management.

The multidisciplinary clinical case management team (MDT) includes a clinical psychologist, nurse, and mental health/addiction consultant. They each have a wealth of knowledge from the mental and general healthcare disciplines and are always onsite to deal with any medical emergencies. All our clinical staff also have a background of mindfulness techniques geared toward decreasing anxiety and promoting attention and focus.
